This variety of basil has a distinct aroma similar to cloves but with strong floral notes that give it a unique character. This herb is considered an adaptogen in alternative and complementary medicine.

Our organic herbs and flowers are carefully hand harvested in their prime, when they taste their best, have the most nutritional value, and their essential oils are the most abundant. We gently air dry at low temperatures, preserving the flavor, color, and aroma of the plant while using minimal energy. We cut and sift the herbs by hand to keep the plants as whole as possible to reduce oxidation, which is a process of degradation. Therefore, this product may contain some stems and may require some sorting. Dried herbs and flowers can maintain quality for up to three years.
